Dark Centauri is the electrifying new rock/metal project spearheaded by Suffolk-based musician Adam James Wakeling, officially launched in 2024. After decades of crafting intricate compositions—ranging from instrumental rock/metal albums like Wrath of the Titans to orchestral soundtracks for theatre—Adam has now fused his diverse influences into Dark Centauri. On the debut EP Welcome, Mr Hyde, released in 2024, he handled every instrument and vocal track, merging the raw power of guitar-driven rock with cinematic flair. While currently a solo venture, Dark Centauri is destined to evolve into a full band, bringing live its epic, genre-blending sound.
